My server computer died and after searching for a replacement for some time, I found a deal on a used Synology DiskStation.

I bought it and set up my server on it and am quite happy with it.

It is an amazing device that is much smaller and more efficient than using a full sized computer as a server.

It is roughly the size of most external hard drives, and it runs a Linux system with full server abilities.

It has a built in Photo Server that organizes pictures into albums and slide shows.

It has a built in Blog creator that creates and publishes blog pages.

This page is running from a Synology DiskStation DS106e sitting in the living room of my home that acts as my Web Server.

My Photo Albums

The albums on the page from the link above were moved from the old server.
They were created using J-Album software.
Since the Synology creates its own Slide Shows automatically, I may not do any more albums like these.
